The Shamrock Hotel was located at Gerrard and River Streets in Toronto until 1947 when the land was sold. The Hotel`s owner purchased the building at 280 Coxwell Avenue and turned the basement into a bar called "Underworld". The main floor of the building was used as a Banquet Hall. To appease local neighbours who didn`t like having a bar so close, a bowling alley was built on the third floor of the building in 1952.
We are thrilled to reopen the Shamrock Bowl to welcome corporate team building and social events. We are proud to continue the tradition of friendly competition, laughter and good times. We invite you to visit the Shamrock, step back in time and appreciate the history that this historic venue has to offer.
